The objectives of the ICM Level 5 Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise are to:

  • Provide a qualification in entrepreneurship and enterprise that combines both subject knowledge and industry experience that is essential for the Learner’s career advancement.
  • Equip Learners with the entrepreneurship and enterprise knowledge and understanding necessary to set up and operate a small enterprise in the domestic and international business environment.
  • Provide an applied balance between employability opportunities and the knowledge essential for the Learner’s career advancement or academic aspirations.
  • Provide opportunities for Learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and personal attributes essential to be a successful entrepreneur.

This Diploma programme in Business Studies will run for a period of six months

This  programme includes the following modules: brand identity and design, digital marketing, entrepreneurship development and enterprise, as well as the use of social media for business. For the brand identity and design, students will explore the basics of branding, Brand Anatomy, Brand Strategy, The Design Process, Research, Analysis, Concept Development, and Delivering the Final Design. The digital marketing module will encompass Digital Marketing Essentials, Digital Marketing Tools, and Strategy and Planning. The core module on entrepreneurship development and enterprise will explore the Environment, the Person and the Organisation while the module on the use of social media for business will comprise of sessions around Developing a Successful Social Media Strategy, The Power of Social Media to Boost your Business, Managing Risks and Measuring Performance and Developing a Personal Profile and Leadership Skills
