The objectives of the ICM Level 5 Diploma in Computer Science and Cyber Security are to:

  • Provide knowledge and understanding in computer science and cyber security that is essential for the Learner’s career advancement.

This Diploma programme in Business Studies will run for a period of six months

This is a four-module programme including computer systems, software testing, computer science and computer security. for computer systems, students will be introduced to Computer Science, Data Storage, Data Manipulation, Operating Systems, Networking and Internet and Algorithms‍.

For software testing, focus will be on the Psychology and Economics of Software Testing, Program Inspections, Walkthroughs, and Review, Test-Case Design, Higher-Order Testing, Usability, Debugging, Extreme Testing and Testing Internet Applications.

The computer science module will include Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Data Abstractions, Data Systems, Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and Theory of Computation. The last module on computer security will involve an overview computer security concepts, Computer Security Technology and Principles, Software and System Security, Security Management Issues, Symmetric Encryption and Message Algorithms and Network Security
