Afro-Brit CID is headquartered in the UK, with a growing network of Regional Support Centres across Africa, starting with Cameroon. We also offer a strong online presence, making our programmes accessible across the continent and beyond.

Yes, Afro-Brit CID programmes are designed in alignment with international development standards and are delivered in partnership with recognised academic institutions and practitioners across Africa and the UK. For instance, Afro-Brit programmes in Cameroon will be accredited by the University of Bamenda. Also, Afro-Brit CID is following up accreditation arrangements as an Independent Higher Education Institution by the British Accreditation Council. In addition, Afro-Brit is taking up membership with Development Studies Association, which is a professional body for International Development professionals.

Finally, Afro-Brit Centre for International Development (Afro-Brit CID) is a UK-registered Private Limited Company (Company Number 16320322), incorporated under Section 1115 of the Companies Act 2006 with the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales. Established as a Company Limited by Guarantee, Afro-Brit CID is authorized to facilitate access to high-quality professional and higher education programmes through strategic partnerships with UK-based universities and institutions, specifically catering to African learners.

Most programmes are delivered fully online or in hybrid mode (online with in-country support or practical sessions). Our Bootcamps and certain advanced courses include in-person components at partner universities or regional hubs.

Most programmes require:
